The old 2008 record of 15 participants for the Longest Day 5k/10k at UBC was smashed June 13 as 22 PRR’s, plus one member’s son participated in this year’s races.  (We also had a daughter and three grandkids of members participate in the Kids’ Mile.)  Sunny before and during the race, mostly cloudy afterwards but post-race BBQ food/coffee/conversation kept people warm.

Chip time results below.  Just a reminder that our next planned club-subsidized race is the Pinetree Classic cross-country event through the trails of Mundy Park in Coquitlam on Sat Sept 20.  The club will be picking up the full entry fee for that one — so mark your calendars!
