The course is accurately measured and certified BC-2007-124-BDC.

Caution: The city has installed speed bumps on Drake Street, 50m before the finish line.  Please be aware of this as you sprint for the finish.

First aid will be located along the course and at the finish line.

Washrooms will be clearly signed.  They are available inside the Roundhouse Community Centre and there will be additional Port-a-Potties outside on Drake Street, giving easy access to the start line.  Line up early, as there is always a rush just before start time.

There are also public washrooms around the course.

A complimentary bag check will be located at The Roundhouse Community Centre.  All bags to be checked must be clearly marked with your race number.  We do not accept any liability for bags and contents left in the bag check area.

The course will be closed promptly at 11:30 am, allowing 3 hours to complete the race.  Race walkers are only permitted if they expect to finish in under 3 hours.  No early start for walkers.

We regret that the race is not suitable for recreational walkers, wheelchairs, strollers, baby joggers, or rollerbladers.  No pets allowed on the course.
